About Phillips Solutions Training LLC

Our Core Purpose

Based in Laramie, Wyoming, Phillips Solutions Training LLC was formed to solve a critical operational gap in modern IT operations: the lack of disciplined, formalized education surrounding remote access client usage. While billions of dollars are spent on cloud infrastructure and firewalls, day-to-day administrative access often relies on poorly configured terminal clients, uncontrolled SSH keys, and unmonitored port tunnels.

We deliver targeted, practical IT training centered on MobaXterm, secure shell (SSH) client hardening, and multi-tier network connectivity. We believe that when administrators understand the exact mechanics of encrypted tunnels, display forwarding, and session configuration, their infrastructure becomes dramatically more secure and productive.

Our Educational Principles

• Pragmatic Rigor: We avoid purely theoretical lectures. Every module includes realistic terminal simulations where students resolve real-world connection errors, proxy configurations, and key authentication mismatches.
• Hardened Security Defaults: We train students to configure their tools to the highest security standards, emphasizing strong encryption, master password enforcement, and eliminating unneeded legacy protocols.
• Vendor Neutrality & Independence: We teach based on open industry protocols (OpenSSH, SFTP, X11, SOCKS) while showing how enhanced client environments like MobaXterm orchestrate these tools seamlessly on Windows.
